The $150

I believe that this lot was clearly worth the $150 paid for it.

If I sell the Nexi, which I don;t want, for $40 total, then I paid $110 for it. I could easily make my money back and more with sales here and there. There are no home run cards in here. No mythic has a high value, and only the Nexi are worth double digit prices. The next highest is Sun Titan and the Grand Abolishers. However, with 179 rares, 1000 uncommons, and lots of value in those cards, we get our money made easily.

What I need to do is decide what I want, and what I don't want. I can always use another Life's Finale, another Planar Portal, another Sun Titan, another Sphinx of Uthuun, etc.

There's a lot of value in cards worth 1-4 dollars Gideon's Avenger, Go for the Throat, Everflowing Chalice, Copperline Gorge, Swiftfoot Boots, Call to the Graves, and many more cards. Even with reduced prices to move things, the money is here.

I;m considering pulling my auction for a few days and seeing if Inkmoth Nexus rises in value after this weekend. Two separate decks in the Top 8 of the Modern PT have a full set of Nexi.


In fact, both made it to the semi-finals.
